I was impressed for not knowing what I was doing! This flash appears to have all the same functions/features as the better Canon Speedlites (zoom, swivel, etc), but I can't compare quality of light since I haven't used anything else.

I also like to mention if you need a diffuser I recommend buying the Polaroid Flash Diffuser For The Canon 430, 430 II EX it fits very well with this flash.
